Enjoy a night of Traditional Irish Music, Song and dance in the company of some of Donegals finest traditional musicians.

The Trad Trail bus operates 6 nights a week (ex Saturday) from May to October, leaving the Tourist Information Offices on the Quay in Donegal Town at 9pm (returning approx midnight), bringing you to the towns of Ardara, Dunkineely and Glenties (depending on what night the session is on) to experience the true, authentic Donegal Traditional Irish Music Session.

    Price is €20 per person which includes courtesy travel and a certificate of attendance.

The Donegal School of Traditional Irish Music


Running courses in Traditional Irish Music and also offering on–line Skype tutoring. Weeklong and weekend courses run from Monday – Friday from June until September, 2014. Classes are open for all musicians to attend from beginner right up to the advanced player.

  • Based in the heritage town of Ardara, the Donegal School of Traditional Irish Music run weekend and week long courses to suit all levels of musicians in all instruments from June to September. With nightly sessions in the local bars and the numerous tourist attractions nearby.
